While we all love going on vacation, getting to our destination can be a headache, especially when traveling with kids. After reading some Club Mobay reviews online, my family and I decided to use Club Mobay’s VIP arrival and departure services at Montego Bay’s Sangster International Airport (book here). It took all the stress out of getting there. In fact, the company did more than that; they made us feel like celebrities! Many thanks to them for partnering with us on this post. Here’s why you should consider using Club Mobay Jamaica for your next Jamaican adventure:
1. Skip long immigration lines
The line at the Montego Bay airport in particular can be very long, with wait times of over an hour. When you go with Club Mobay Jamaica, a personal escort will greet you as you step off the plane and guide you through the airport. When we arrived, it took us only 10 minutes to get from the plane to the lounge.
2. Gain access to great food and drinks while you wait
Once inside the lounge, you’ll be offered complimentary snacks and cocktails. Serge and I were presented with a rum punch as soon as we landed in Jamaica. Yes, please! We felt like we were officially on vacation! The girls enjoyed sipping their (non-alcoholic) fruit punch. If you’ve read any Club Mobay reviews, you’ll know that the food and drink are highly rated here.
3. You’ll have an opportunity to freshen up before heading to the hotel
We still had an hour and a half drive to Ocho Rios after we landed, so we really appreciated being able to grab a bite to eat and freshen up in the bathroom before heading out. Club Mobay Jamaica has private restrooms and changing facilities that are cleaner and less hectic than the public restrooms in the main airport.
4. The Club Mobay Jamaica departure lounge is great for kids
When it’s time to head back home, be sure to use the Club Mobay departure lounge while you wait for your flight (and not just the arrival lounge on your way there). The club has a sound-controlled kids’ room with toys and cartoons playing. Our girls had a great time hanging out in there.
5. Get a massage while you wait for your flight
You read that right! Savor the last moments of your trip at Mango Spa in the departure lounge at Club Mobay Jamaica. There you can get a chair massage, as well as a manicure or a pedicure. Why not treat yourself? Travel heightens anxiety and these services can reduce that. You can also take advantage of free WiFi, reading materials, and free international phone calls to the US, Canada, and the UK. There are even dedicated suites for adults only, for families, and for people wanting peace and quiet—all features that are highly rated in Club Mobay reviews.
What if you’re flying into Kingston instead of Montego Bay? Not to worry! You can get all the same amenities through Club Kingston. While you can select either arrival or departure services, I’d recommend that you go for both. You’ll get a deal when you bundle them together, plus you’ll enjoy having these options both coming and going!
The Club Mobay reviews are in!
Whether you want to start your honeymoon or anniversary trip off right, are traveling for business with no time to spare, or are a family traveling with kids and just need a break, Club Mobay Jamaica services are for you. You’ll be treated with the utmost hospitality, and will forego the hassle that usually comes with immigration, customs and security.
