Can’t get a reservation for character dining at Disney World? Then take your kids to eat at the Four Seasons instead! In this video, I share with you our family’s experience trying the Character Breakfast at the Four Seasons Resort Orlando. And be sure to watch till the end, because I’ll be giving you three insider tips that will make your experience the best that it can be.
Reservations for character dining experiences at Disney World can be hard to come by.
Luckily, there’s a wonderful alternative.
Not only are the prices comparable to what you’d pay at Disney, the facilities are much more luxurious and quite frankly, the food is way better.
Your kids will have a chance to meet Goofy, Mickey Mouse, and Minnie Mouse during this meal, and the characters do a great job of making sure they stop at every single table to interact with you.
Minnie Mouse did a LOT of interacting with my husband. Seriously this went on for a good two minutes. It got a little uncomfortable for everybody!
The buffet is offered every Thursday and Saturday, and during high seasons, it’s available on Tuesdays too.
The food was delicious, the service was wonderful, and they did a great job making our daughter feel special on her birthday.
Here are a few insider tips to make your experience the best that it can be.
Insider Tip 1:
Join in the celebration
Periodically during the breakfast, everyone will join in a celebration. They’ll play a Mickey Mouse song on the speakers, and all the servers, characters, and guests will sing, dance and twirl their napkins. Don’t be a grouch – you’ll have more fun if you just join in the celebration!
Insider Tip 2:
Get a Disney PhotoPass card
The restaurant has photographers on hand to take pictures of you with the characters and will give you a special Disney PhotoPass card. This makes it extremely convenient to access your photos, because they’ll be in the same place as all the other photos from your Disney vacation.
Insider Tip 3:
Try the green juice
One of the stations at the buffet is a juice and smoothie bar. These drinks aren’t included in the price of your buffet. This was one of the best green juices I’ve ever had, so it’s definitely worth paying extra.
