6. Turtle Tower
The tower is known as Thap Rua to the Vietnamese people, and was built in 1886. A Ta Vong Temple had once stood in the same place, and it commemorates an influential Vietnamese warrior known as Le Loi, who vowed to lead his people to freedom, away from their Chinese invaders.
7. Ban Gioc Waterfall
These falls are 30 meters high and 300 meters across. Ban Gioc Falls are the widest in Vietnam, and those choosing to visit Vietnam can’t help but be amazed by the stunning bamboo and rice field scenery.
8. My Son Sanctuary, Vietnam
Another UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Hindu-themed ruins are made up of over 70 stone sculptures, the remains of a former political centre and royal burial ground. The buildings were once considered to protect the ancient Champa civilization kings.
9. Colorful Ethnic Markets In Bac Ha
Open each Sunday, the markets attract tourists and visitors from around the world, who come to check out the wares of the Mong ethnic minority people. Brocade handbags are a colorful favorite among fashionista tourists.
10. Paradise Cave
Only discovered in 2005, this has quickly become a favourite attraction. Beautiful stalactites and stalagmites protrude from the limestone formations, and Paradise Cave is the longest in the national park.
